Job Description:
1. Responsible for all organizational matters and technical coaching instruction within the Boys Basketball program2. Must communicate effectively with all stakeholders3. Recommend selection of assistant coaches to the Athletic Director for final confirmation by the Principal; and evaluate coaches within the basketball program4. Participate in Dual County League meetings and conferences and stay abreast of changes in rules and regulations in MIAA and National High School Federation 5. Work with school administration, nurses, and athletic trainers on the physical and emotional well-being of student-athletes6. Assume responsibility for school facilities, including gyms, locker rooms, and the fitness center, and keep inventory of equipment and supplies 7. Work closely with the guidance department regarding colleges that are of interest to team members. Establish relationships with college coaches
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree required 1. A minimum of three (3) years of successful experience as a head coach in an educational setting OR at least five (5) years of successful experience as an assistant coach in an educational setting. 2. CPR and First Aid certified
