Job Description
Qualified candidates will be able to lead the Cheer team under the direction of the High School Athletic Director and Principal.
This leadership includes but is not limited to teaching and coaching student-athletes of various abilities and assisting on and strategies while following all guidelines set by the HWRHS Athletic Department, MSAA, HWRSD and State of MA.Hamilton-Wenham Regional High School seeks a Head Varsity Cheer Coach for the 2026-2027 winter season who is committed to leading a competitive program and working in a dynamic, student-centered environment. This position will be under the direction of the High School Athletic Director and Principal.
The Head Varsity Cheer Coach is a dedicated, enthusiastic individual who understands the value of education-based athletics, competitive cheer and serves as a positive role model. The ideal candidate will instruct student athletes in the fundamental skills and strategy to achieve individual and team success. Student-athletes should receive instruction that will lead to values, leadership, resilience, self-confidence, and a sense of pride.
The Head Varsity Cheer Coach will support the HWRHS Athletic Department in accordance with the applicable rules and regulations: Providing supervision of students during all aspects of the program. Serving as a positive role model to the student-athletes and representing Hamilton-Wenham Regional High School in a well-respected manner.
