Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic professional fitness coach to join our team in Hopkinton to work with all of our coach-led programs. Our ideal candidate works great on a team and has a growth mindset. We're looking for someone willing to jump into our training environment with both feet, eager and ready to make a difference in our clients' lives. Ideal candidates are passionate about what they do and have at least 2 years of experience as a fitness coach. Experience in the CrossFit space is required. The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate a proven track record of teamwork, high-touch customer service and strong client results. Ideal candidates hold a CF-L2, CSCS, or equivalent certification(s), or have a four-year degree from an accredited university in the field. This role includes coaching youth athletes and adults in large group, small group and one-on-one settings. This job is a full-time role and requires afternoon/evening availability in addition to weekend availability. Compensation commensurate to experience. Responsibilities Provide world-class coaching, ensure safety, and effectiveness while coaching 2-4 group sessions and 1-3 small group or one-on-one sessions per day Maintain an email inbox and respond to colleagues and clients within 24hrs Attend and participate in team meetings Help onboard new members into our facility Develop individualized training programs for teams, and/or individuals Foster a supportive and welcoming atmosphere that encourages client engagement and motivation Own administrative responsibilities that drive results Be an active part of the community, attending and running gym socials and events Assist with gym operations by maintaining equipment and ensuring cleanliness Experience Experience in a CrossFit gym holding an active CF-L2 Previous experience as a S&C Coach, Personal Trainer, Youth Coach, or in a related role in health clubs or gyms is preferred. Background in sports coaching, sports performance, teaching physical education, or childcare is highly desirable. Experience working with students or youth in a fitness or educational setting is advantageous. Strong behavior management skills to effectively engage with clients of varying backgrounds and fitness levels.
Pay:
$25.00 - $77.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
