Sports Performance Coach Parsons Sports Performance Norwood, MA $25
•30/hour Full-Time or Part-Time Parsons Sports Performance is hiring a Sports Performance Coach to join our team in Norwood. We work primarily with middle school, high school, and college athletes, with a major emphasis on baseball development. Our athletes train in individualized performance programs built around strength, speed, power, movement, durability, and objective performance testing. We're looking for someone who can develop into a trusted leader on our training floor. You do not need to already know the PSP system. We'll teach you that. You do need to be dependable, coachable, confident working with athletes, willing to take ownership, and serious about building a career in sports performance. What You'll Do Coach athletes through individualized strength and performance programs Lead and manage groups during busy training hours Teach exercises, provide feedback, and maintain a high standard of execution Build relationships with athletes and help create a competitive, positive training environment Monitor athlete performance and communicate relevant information to the coaching team Assist with performance evaluations and athlete testing Maintain organization, cleanliness, and professionalism on the training floor Participate in team meetings and professional development Learn and execute the PSP training and coaching system As you develop in the role, there will be opportunities to take on additional responsibilities in programming, athlete management, testing, education, and leadership. Schedule Our primary coaching hours are:
Monday-Thursday:
3:00-7:30
PM Friday:
3:00-5:30
PM Saturday:
10:00 AM-1:00 PM Availability during these hours is strongly preferred and will be a major consideration in hiring. Part-time candidates should expect approximately 25+ hours per week. For the right candidate, this position can expand into a 30-40 hour full-time role with additional responsibilities outside of coaching hours. Who We're Looking For Coaching experience is preferred, but it is not required. We are open to developing a high-upside candidate who has the right personality, work ethic, athletic background, and desire to become an excellent coach. Recent graduates and former collegiate athletes who want to build a career in sports performance are encouraged to apply.

Reliable and professional Comfortable communicating with athletes and parents Confident leading groups Highly coachable Energetic and engaged on the training floor Detail-oriented Willing to take responsibility and ownership Interested in strength & conditioning and long-term athlete development Invested in your own personal and professional development Motivated to continually improve as a coach Preferred Qualifications These are helpful, but not required: Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Strength & Conditioning, or related field Collegiate athletic experience Previous sports performance or strength & conditioning coaching experience CSCS, SCCC, or similar certification Baseball playing or coaching background Experience coaching sprinting, jumping, strength training, or athletic development Experience with athlete testing, force plates, dynamometry, or performance technology Compensation & Benefits $25
•30/hour , depending on experience and fit.
