Job Description

Amazing Athletes is looking for an energetic, dependable, and enthusiastic Multi-Sport Youth Coach to join our team! This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children, has a passion for sports and fitness, and is comfortable coaching multiple sports rather than specializing in just one . Our coaches work with young children in schools, childcare centers, and enrichment programs throughout the area. Using our established curriculum, coaches introduce children to sports fundamentals in a fun, positive, age-appropriate, and engaging environment.
What You'll Do:
Lead fun, structured, and engaging sports classes for children. Teach age-appropriate fundamentals across multiple sports, including soccer, basketball, baseball/tee-ball, lacrosse, and football. Learn and confidently deliver the Amazing Athletes curriculum across our sports programs. Demonstrate basic sports skills and explain activities in a way young children can easily understand. Encourage participation, confidence, teamwork, coordination, and sportsmanship. Create a positive and energetic environment for every class. Manage groups of children while keeping activities organized, safe, and engaging. Travel reliably to assigned schools and program locations. Communicate professionally with the Amazing Athletes team and school/center staff. Arrive prepared and on time for all assigned classes. What We're Looking For Comfortable coaching and learning all sports offered by Amazing Athletes , not just one specific sport. Experience working with children is strongly preferred. Coaching, teaching, childcare, recreation, camp, or youth sports experience is a plus. Energetic, patient, dependable, and comfortable leading groups of children. Able to learn new sports, drills, and activities and teach them confidently. Strong communication and classroom/group-management skills. Reliable transportation and willingness to drive to different program locations. Dependable availability for assigned classes and programs. Ability to successfully complete all required background screening and fingerprinting requirements before beginning assigned shifts.
Ideal Candidate:
You do not need to be an expert in every sport. However, you should be willing and able to learn our curriculum and become comfortable teaching the fundamentals of every sport we offer. We're looking for coaches who can bring energy, patience, reliability, and enthusiasm to every class while helping children develop a lifelong love of movement and sports. $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
