As a Youth Lacrosse Coach , you'll lead structured, engaging classes at elementary schools across Howard County, introducing players to the fundamentals of lacrosse in a fun and supportive environment. This is a part-time, contract-based role offered in 8-week sessions during the Fall, Winter, and Spring seasons, with opportunities for continued coaching beyond each session. Current Schedule & Availability We are currently hiring for the following shifts:

Mondays:

4:00 PM•7:00

PM Tuesdays:

4:00 PM•7:00

PM Wednesdays:

3:20 PM•6:30

PM Thursdays:

3:20 PM•6:30 PM Additional opportunities may become available. Coaches who perform well may continue into future seasons or expand into other programs. Responsibilities Lead beginner-friendly lacrosse classes using a structured curriculum Teach core skills including cradling, passing, scooping, shooting, and basic gameplay Create a fun, inclusive, and high-energy environment for children ages 3-12 Travel to elementary school locations within Howard County Set up and break down equipment before and after each session Ensure safety, engagement, and positive group dynamics during all classes Communicate clearly and professionally with parents, school staff, and internal team members Represent the brand in a dependable and enthusiastic manner Skills & Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old and a responsible, dependable adult Experience working with children (coaching, teaching, camps, or childcare) preferred Background in lacrosse or similar team sports preferred Energetic, positive personality with strong group/classroom management skills Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license Able to lift/carry up to 30 lbs of sports equipment CPR/First Aid certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain) Must pass a background check Why Join Us?
