Job Description

Koa Sports is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, whose mission is to Shape Kids' Lives Through Sports. Koa Sports is seeking a dedicated part-time coach to run afterschool program classes and coach multisport programming at camps over the calendar year. At Koa, we pride ourselves on creating a positive environment for our athletes and their families.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Plan, lead, encourage, and engage kids in various activities, sports, and specialized activities including but not limited to street hockey, soccer, kickball, dodgeball, basketball, wiffle-ball, PE games, and more. Demonstrate use of sport recreational equipment and teach participants the principles, techniques, and safety procedures for each activity. Build and maintain open communication with athletes and Koa camp staff Experience, Abilities, and Qualifications Previous experience working with children or caring for children. Experience playing or coaching various sports/PE games. Enthusiastic, energetic, and positive attitude. Must have own transportation for the duration of employment
Work Schedule:
Must be available Monday and Tuesday between (1:00pm
  • 4:00pm). With the availability to sub Wednesday
  • Friday same time if needed. Available to work weekday hours of 8:00am
  • 4:00pm throughout the school year.
Compensation:
$20 per hour
