Qualifications:

Successful track & field coaching experience preferred Knowledge and ability to teach track & field techniques and strategies Proven ability to enhance skill development in athletes Must possess the ability to represent the Wayland Union District in a positive manner and implement MHSAA rules and policies of the Wayland Union Board of Education Must possess knowledge of basic first aid

Responsibilities & Duties:

Coach the team for competition, by supporting technique and promoting team building Represent the Wayland Union District in a positive and professional manner when dealing with opponents, officials, players, parents and spectators Work with Varsity Coach to schedule practices and events Organize, motivate, and supervise athletes Communicate effectively with parents, staff and students

Terms of Employment:

WUEA Schedule B position, seasonal position only. Will be employed through EduStaff unless current WUEA member. Contingent upon passing post offer background checks.
