Youth Volleyball Coach

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Volleyball Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in coaching volleyball and experience working with students of various ages. This role involves developing players' skills, fostering teamwork, and promoting a positive and inclusive environment for all participants. The Volleyball Coach will be responsible for planning practices, leading drills, and preparing the team for competitions. Duties Develop and implement training programs that enhance individual and team performance. Conduct regular practices focusing on skill development, strategy, and teamwork. Organize and oversee competitive matches, ensuring adherence to rules and sportsmanship. Provide constructive feedback to players to help them improve their skills. Foster a positive learning environment that encourages participation and enjoyment of the sport. Communicate effectively with players, parents, and school staff regarding team progress and events. Manage behavior during practices and games to ensure a safe and respectful atmosphere. Collaborate with other coaches to coordinate schedules and share best practices. Skills Proven experience in sports coaching, particularly in volleyball. Strong teaching skills with the ability to convey complex concepts in an understandable manner. Experience working with students in various settings, including childcare or educational environments. Knowledge of behavior management techniques to maintain discipline during practices and games. Ability to create engaging practice plans that cater to different skill levels within the team. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with players, parents, and colleagues. Must be able to work at least 2-3 days a week and some weekends from January to June.
