Do you love working with kids? Are you energetic, dependable, and comfortable leading fun activities? Kidokinetics MN West is looking for enthusiastic Part-Time Children's Sports & Fitness Coaches to join our team! Kidokinetics is a mobile children's sports and fitness program that introduces kids to a wide variety of sports in a fun, structured, and noncompetitive environment . We work with preschools, elementary schools, community education programs, parks & recreation departments, and other youth organizations throughout the Twin Cities. Our coaches travel directly to program locations and lead engaging sports and movement classes for children approximately ages 2-12 . What You'll Do Lead fun, high-energy sports and fitness classes for preschool and elementary-age children Teach a variety of sports and movement activities using our established curriculum Create a positive, encouraging, and safe environment for every child Set up and clean up sports equipment before and after classes Keep children engaged while managing groups effectively Communicate professionally with school staff, parents, and the Kidokinetics team Travel between schools, childcare centers, and other program locations throughout the Twin Cities Schedule This is a part-time position averaging approximately 10-20 hours per week . Most programs take place Monday-Friday between approximately 9:00 AM and 5:30 PM , with many classes occurring during the school day and after school. Occasional evening or weekend opportunities may also be available. Scheduling can be flexible depending on your availability, but candidates with availability on multiple weekdays are preferred. Pay $23-$28 per hour, based on experience We also provide: Paid training Mileage reimbursement Paid drive time between program locations, where applicable Opportunities for additional hours as our programs grow Opportunity for advancement and increased responsibility What We're Looking For You may be a great fit if you: Love working with children Are energetic, positive, dependable, and professional Are comfortable leading groups of preschool and elementary-age children Can confidently demonstrate basic sports and movement activities Have strong communication and classroom/group-management skills Are punctual and able to work independently Are comfortable driving between different program locations Requirements Previous experience working with children Valid driver's license Reliable personal transportation Ability and willingness to travel between program locations throughout the Twin Cities Ability to lift and carry approximately 20 lbs. of sports equipment Ability to pass a background check Legally authorized to work in the United States Preferred, But Not Required Coaching, teaching, childcare, camp, recreation, or youth-program experience Sports, fitness, kinesiology, education, or child-development background Experience managing groups of children CPR/First Aid certification You do not need to be an expert in every sport . We provide curriculum, equipment, and training. What matters most is that you are dependable, energetic, enjoy working with children, and can confidently lead a group.
