To learn more about our benefits, visit csbsju.edu/jobs . The Assistant Softball Coach works under the direction of the Head Coach to support the CSB Softball Team. This position assists in creating a season plan, executing practices, recruiting prospective student-athletes, and helping manage the overall softball program. The primary responsibility is creating a positive student-athlete experience and assisting the head coach with the day-to-day operations of a collegiate softball program. Actual pay will be dependent upon several factors, including the candidate's experience, qualifications, and skills, and may fall outside of the range indicated. Assist with coaching and student-athlete development for the softball program Collaborate with the head coach to plan practices, teach technique, advance individual skills, and support strength and conditioning efforts. Identify and assess prospective student-athletes and build relationships through the recruiting process established by the head coach. Provide academic support and personal mentoring through individual and team meetings. Support the head coach in developing a competitive schedule and coordinating logistics for team and recruiting travel. Attend games and assist with all responsibilities related to game-day operations. Perform other duties as assigned.
