About STMA Schools

We are a district that serves over 6,900 students and employs 750+ employees in a northwestern suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Our district is comprised of one primary school for kindergarten students, three elementary schools for grades 1-4, two middle schools for grades 5-8, and one high school for grades 9-12.

Position Overview & Responsibilities

We are seeking dedicated and experienced coaches to lead and develop our STMA Community Education Girls High School Flag Football program.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for training athletes of varying skill levels, developing effective practice plans, and instilling discipline and teamwork. Key duties include teaching football techniques, preparing athletes for competitions, and ensuring a safe and motivating environment. Strong leadership, communication skills, and a passion for mentoring athletes are essential. Previous coaching experience and a deep understanding of football strategy are preferred.

Age ranges: Girls grades 8-12.

Start Date:

March, 2026

Schedule:

Practices will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:30pm - 8:30pm. Games will be held on Sunday evenings for about 4 hours. Games will begin April 25th and run through May 30th. If the team makes the State Championship, there will be one additional week of practice and a game taking place on June 6th.

Salary and Benefits:
Head Coach:

Stipend of $2,000

Assistant Coaches:

Stipend of $1,500

No benefit eligibility, other than Earned Safe and Sick Time (ESST) as provided by law.

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience in instructing/coaching.

Must be 18+ years old. Football coaching experience preferred. Application Process
