PURPOSE OF THE ACTIVITY
To prepare students for competitions and performances. Develop lesson plans and training sessions to enhance students' speech skills. Provide constructive feedback to students to improve their performance
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB
  • Connection to a high school community
  • Communicate with high school students
  • Be supportive to high school students
  • Education degree and/or counseling
  • Previous speech coaching experience preferred.

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
A. Planning and leading practice sessionsB. Creating strategies to prepare/lead students for competitionsC. Provide feedback and coaching at practices/competitionsD. Follow District #834 Code of Ethics for Advisors.
