Home / Jobs / Assistant Coach (Part-time) (All sports) All Open Positions Share Assistant Coach (Part-time) (All sports) Staff (Part Time) Date Posted September 2, 2026 Office Athletics Applications by: Location Main Campus - West St. Louis County Summary This posting will remain open for anyone interested in filling the position of Assistant Coach in the following Missouri Baptist University sports :(baseball, men's and women's basketball, bowling, cross country, dance, esports, football, men's and women's golf, men's and women's lacrosse, men's and women's soccer, softball, stunt, men's and women's tennis, men's and women's track and field, men's and women's volleyball, men's and women's wrestling, and exercise sciences) If you are interested in joining MBU in this capacity, please follow the instructions below under "How to Apply". Essential Responsibilities Coaching and Training to include: Develop and implement training programs; conducting practices and training sessions; analyzing athletes' performances and providing feedback; developing game strategies and playbooks; monitoring the physical and mental condition of athletes.
Recruitment to include:
scouting and evaluating potential student-athletes; communicating with high school coaches and athletes; organizing and conducting campus visits for recruits; coordinating recruiting trips and attending high school games and tournaments. Mentorship and Student-Athlete Support to include: Provide academic support and ensuring athletes maintain eligibility; offering personal and career advice; supporting athletes' overall well-being and development. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
Experience:
Two (2) years of experience as a coach at the club, high school, or college level or a former student-athlete at the high school or college level.
