Overview Join our dynamic team as a Softball Instructor and inspire players of all ages to develop their skills, teamwork, and love for the game! In this energetic role, you will lead engaging softball training sessions, foster a positive learning environment, and motivate athletes to reach their full potential. Your passion for sports coaching and dedication to safety will help create an exciting and inclusive atmosphere for all participants. You will also be insturcting small group training sessions for Sports Performance (Speed, Agility, Power, Strength and Conditioning).This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to share your expertise while making a meaningful impact on our community's athletic development. Bachelor's degree is required. A degree in Exercise Science or Kinesiology is preferred. Duties Deliver comprehensive softball training sessions tailored to different skill levels and age groups Demonstrate proper techniques for batting, pitching(not required but a plus), catching, fielding, and base running Deliver training sessions for speed, agility, strength and conditioning. Monitor player progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance performance Enforce safety protocols during instruction. Manage team behavior and promote sportsmanship among participants Communicate effectively with players, parents, and other staff to ensure clear understanding of development and expectations Skills Prior experience in sports coaching or athletic instruction College playing experience is a must Strong communication skills to effectively teach techniques and motivate athletes Experience working with children or youth in a coaching or childcare setting Knowledge of sports-specific training methods and team leadership principles Ability to manage behavior positively while maintaining discipline during activities Join us as a Softball Instructor where your enthusiasm fuels our athletes' growth!
