Job Summary Carolina Courts Basketball Academy (CCBA) is looking for passionate, dependable, and energetic Basketball Coaches to join our growing coaching staff. CCBA serves athletes from beginner through competitive travel basketball , with programming designed to teach the game, develop players, and create a positive basketball experience. We are looking for coaches who enjoy working with young athletes, communicate well, bring great energy to the gym, and want to make an impact beyond the scoreboard. Whether you are an experienced coach or a former player looking to begin your coaching career, we want people who are excited to teach, develop, and lead. Responsibilities Coach and instruct youth basketball players in practices, training sessions, and games Teach proper basketball fundamentals, skills, concepts, and terminology Create a positive, energetic, and organized environment for players Help athletes improve their individual skills, basketball IQ, confidence, and understanding of team basketball Communicate effectively with players, parents, fellow coaches, and CCBA leadership Provide constructive instruction and feedback to players Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, accountability, and respect Arrive prepared and on time for all assigned practices, games, and program activities Represent Carolina Courts and CCBA professionally Maintain a safe and development-focused environment for every athlete Qualifications Basketball playing and/or coaching experience preferred Strong understanding of basketball fundamentals and team concepts Ability to teach and communicate with youth athletes Dependable, organized, energetic, and professional Positive attitude and willingness to learn Ability to work effectively with athletes of different ages and skill levels Passion for basketball and youth player development Evening and weekend availability preferred CCBA is more than a collection of teams. We are building a complete basketball development program for athletes of all ages and ability levels. Our coaches have opportunities to work across CC Jump Start , CC League, CC Select, CC Elite, developmental programs, clinics, camps, and training opportunities. As CCBA continues to grow, we are looking for coaches who want the opportunity to grow with us.
