Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Tennis Professional, where your passion for sports and dedication to coaching will inspire players of all ages and skill levels. In this energetic role, you will deliver engaging tennis instruction, foster a positive environment for skill development, and promote a love for the game. Your expertise will help elevate our tennis programs, ensuring every participant enjoys a rewarding experience while improving their technique and understanding of the sport. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to combine your athletic background with your talent for teaching and motivating others. Duties Conduct engaging tennis lessons tailored to individual skill levels, from beginners to advanced players Develop and implement comprehensive training programs that focus on technique, strategy, and sportsmanship Provide clear feedback and coaching to enhance players' performance and confidence Organize and oversee tennis clinics, leagues, tournaments, and special events to foster community involvement Ensure safety protocols are followed during all activities, including proper use of tennis equipment and court maintenance Assist with facility management tasks such as court reservations, equipment upkeep, and cleanliness Communicate effectively with clients, parents, and team members to promote programs and address any concerns or questions Qualifications Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching, with a strong background in tennis preferred Demonstrated ability to work with children and diverse age groups in a positive, encouraging manner Knowledge of sports-specific training techniques and team leadership skills Certifications in First Aid and CPR/AED operation required; additional certifications in lifeguarding, swimming, martial arts (such as Karate or Judo), or other sports like soccer or basketball are a plus Experience working in health clubs, gyms, or recreational facilities is advantageous Excellent communication skills to effectively engage clients and manage behavior on the court Familiarity with coaching youth sports programs and behavior management strategies Ability to demonstrate physical fitness through climbing, cheerleading routines, or martial arts training is beneficial Join us as a Tennis Professional where your enthusiasm for sports meets your talent for coaching!
