Duties Conduct swimming lessons for children and adults, tailoring instruction to various skill levels and ages Ensure the safety of all participants by monitoring activities closely and enforcing water safety rules Lead warm-up exercises, skill drills, and water safety demonstrations with enthusiasm and clarity Maintain a clean, organized, and safe pool environment, including equipment setup and maintenance Communicate effectively with clients, parents, and team members to provide progress updates and address concerns Implement behavior management strategies to foster respectful, focused learning sessions Respond promptly to emergencies using first aid, CPR, AED operation, and other safety protocols as needed Skills Proven experience as a Lifeguard or in water safety supervision with current certifications in First Aid, CPR, AED operation Strong swimming skills with the ability to demonstrate techniques confidently Background in sports coaching or sports-specific training instruction such as soccer, basketball, cheerleading, climbing, or martial arts like Karate or Judo Experience working with children or students in educational or recreational settings Excellent communication skills to clearly convey instructions and foster positive client relationships Knowledge of behavior management techniques to maintain a safe and respectful environment Ability to lead team activities confidently with team leadership qualities demonstrated through sports coaching or group instruction experience Familiarity with physical education teaching methods and sports team experience enhances instructional effectiveness Join us as a Swim Instructor where your energy fuels growth, safety is paramount, and every lesson is an opportunity to inspire confidence!

Pay:

$25.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 4.0 - 12.0 per week
