Job Overview Join our dynamic team as an Assistant Coach and ignite the passion for sports, fitness, and personal development! In this energetic role, you will support lead coaches in delivering engaging training sessions, fostering a positive environment for participants of all ages. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help individuals build skills, confidence, and a love for physical activity. Whether working with children or adults, you'll play a vital part in promoting health, teamwork, and sportsmanship through active coaching and instruction. Duties Assist in planning and executing sports-specific training programs Support coaches during practice sessions and competitions by providing guidance and encouragement to participants. Lead warm-up routines, skill drills, and safety checks to ensure a safe and effective training environment. Maintain clear communication with participants, parents, and staff to foster a positive team atmosphere. Operate safety equipment such as AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators) when necessary and ensure adherence to health club standards. Manage behavior and promote good sportsmanship among participants to create an inclusive and motivating environment. Skills Prior experience as a collegiate lacrosse player (men's or women's). Strong background in sports coaching, physical education teaching, or sports-specific training instruction. Excellent communication skills to effectively instruct young adults. Ability to manage behavior positively while fostering teamwork and discipline. Experience working with children or students in childcare or educational settings. Familiarity with AED operation, safety protocols, and basic first aid procedures. Passion for coaching

$9,300.00 per year
