We are seeking motivated, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable coaches who are dedicated to helping young athletes reach their full potential while representing our club with professionalism and integrity. Position Summary The Soccer Coach is responsible for planning and leading engaging training sessions, coaching games, and fostering the technical, tactical, physical, and personal development of players. Coaches are expected to create a positive and competitive environment that aligns with the philosophy and standards of Westchester Soccer Club Academy. Responsibilities Plan and conduct age-appropriate training sessions that promote player development. Coach assigned teams during league matches, tournaments, and club events. Develop players' technical, tactical, physical, and mental aspects of the game. Create a positive, supportive, and disciplined team culture. Communicate effectively with players, parents, coaching staff, and club administration. Attend scheduled coaches' meetings, club events, and professional development opportunities. Maintain a safe training environment and prioritize player welfare. Arrive prepared and on time for all training sessions and matches. Professionally represent Westchester Soccer Club Academy at all times. Assist with player evaluations and seasonal assessments when requested. Qualifications Previous coaching experience preferred (club, high school, collegiate, or equivalent). Playing experience at the collegiate or higher level is a plus. US Soccer coaching license (or willingness to obtain one) preferred. Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes of varying ages and skill levels. Reliable transportation to training sessions and matches. Must complete required background checks and SafeSport training. Schedule Evening training sessions during the week. Weekend league matches and tournaments.
