Softball Hitting InstructorPosition Summary We are seeking a dynamic, energetic, and knowledgeable Softball Hitting Instructor to help athletes of all skill levels develop their hitting abilities and reach their full potential. The ideal candidate is passionate about softball, enjoys working with young athletes, and can create an encouraging, positive, and challenging training environment. This is a paid coaching position focused on developing proper hitting mechanics, improving performance, building confidence, and fostering a lifelong love of the game. Key Responsibilities Design and deliver effective softball hitting instruction based on each athlete's age, skill level, and individual goals. Teach and demonstrate proper batting stance, swing mechanics, balance, timing, hand positioning, and approach at the plate. Develop individualized training plans using drills, repetition, video analysis, and performance feedback. Identify areas for improvement and provide clear, constructive instruction to help athletes make measurable progress. Track player development and regularly adjust instruction and training methods based on individual needs. Create a positive, energetic, and supportive training environment that promotes confidence, teamwork, sportsmanship, and continuous improvement. Communicate professionally with athletes and parents regarding player development, goals, progress, and areas for improvement. Maintain a safe and organized training environment while following appropriate youth-sports safety practices. Serve as a positive role model for young athletes both on and off the field. Qualifications Previous experience coaching softball, baseball, or athletic instruction, with a strong understanding of hitting fundamentals and mechanics. Demonstrated ability to teach and communicate effectively with youth athletes. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to motivate athletes while providing positive, constructive feedback. Experience working with children or youth in a coaching, athletic, educational, or childcare setting. Reliable, professional, energetic, and enthusiastic approach to coaching. Ability to work with athletes of varying ages and skill levels. Playing experience at a competitive level is a plus.
