The next head varsity football coach at CCDS will be expected to be a role model for the students and be able to build upon the strong tradition of CCDS football. Our varsity football coach will be expected to lead the program with character, class, and integrity and to develop a football program that is consistent with the high standards of the Cincinnati Country Day community.

PositionCincinnati Country Day School is seeking a head varsity football coach.

ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the director of athletics to manage all aspects of the football programClearly communicate with players and families about expectations for being a member of the football teamLead a coaching staff that develops a positive culture that allows football players to develop and enjoy the game of footballPlan practices to improve individual and team performanceCollaborate with the athletic department to build a cohesive football program, from Middle School through Upper SchoolAttend all practices and gamesQualificationsAll coaches must possess a Pupil Activity Permit (PAP) through the Ohio Department of Education. CCDS will reimburse costs of obtaining certificates and completing classes.

PAP Requirements:

oComplete Coaches Tool Chest oBackground/fingerprint check (every five years after hire and any time requested by CCDS)Previous varsity football coaching experience preferred but not required.
