Pickleball Coach

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and motivated Pickleball Coach to inspire players of all ages and skill levels to develop their game and enjoy the sport. As a Pickleball Coach, you will lead engaging training sessions, foster a positive and inclusive environment, and promote healthy physical activity through dynamic coaching and programming. This role offers an exciting opportunity to combine your passion for sports, teaching, and community engagement while helping individuals improve their skills and confidence on the court. Key Responsibilities Coaching Lead Pickleball Kingdom adult and youth structured pickleball clinics/events for groups and individual players, tailoring instruction to skill levels. Coach private lessons and groups. Conduct Pickleball 101 classes introducing the sport and club culture to beginners. Faciliate and/or assist with tournaments, leagues, and skill-building activities. Foster a fun, safe, and inclusive environment that aligns with club objectives. Facility & Equipment Oversight Help organize and maintain coaching equipment. Ensure courts are safe, clean, and well-prepared for play. Use product knowledge to promote products in Pro Shop to guests. Ability to promote yourself and coach programming to club attendees. Professional Ownership Knowledge of pickleball rules, techniques, and gameplay strategies. Demonstrate proper techniques, rules, and strategies to enhance player performance. Own and thrive on creating fun and engaging programming options. Collaborate with staff quickly and actively to manage registrations. Must be proactive in keeping bio, and availability schedule up to date and posted within the Pickleball Kingdom system. Be an ambassador to promote club programs within the community. Desire to keep promoting the Pickleball Kingdom private coaching system to club attendees. What We Are Looking For Confident communicator with the ability to motivate diverse groups of players. Weekly availability including nights and weekends. Familiarity with behavior management techniques to foster respectful sportsmanship. Experience in sports coaching, physical education teaching or related fields. Certified PPR Pickleball Instructor (Preferred) or a strong desire to get PPR certification or equivalent. 1-2 years of leadership, customer service, or hospitality (fitness, recreation, or sports industry a plus) Energized by people, community, and a chance to lead from the front. Proven desire to work with youth in educational or recreational settings. Coaching Rates Private lesson/group, 50/50 split with the club. Pay:
