Performance Baseball Performance Baseball is a premier baseball training and development organization based in Edmond, OK, committed to providing athletes with a complete and individualized path toward personal and athletic excellence. We specialize in player development, private instruction, player evaluations, strength training, club teams, and biomechanical analysis. Our facility is staffed by experienced instructors, coaches, and performance professionals who share a common goal: to impact young athletes and maximize their potential both on and off the field. Our work spans developmental youth levels to professional athletes. Position Overview We are seeking a highly motivated, knowledgeable, and team-oriented Baseball Instructor to join our growing staff. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in baseball instruction—whether in pitching, hitting, fielding, or catching—as well as an understanding of long-term athlete development. This individual will be responsible for conducting private and group training sessions, assisting in team practices and in-game coaching, and contributing to our overall programming and culture. The role requires both technical expertise and a high level of interpersonal skill to build meaningful relationships with athletes and families. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality baseball instruction to athletes across age groups (youth to high school) Develop individualized training plans aligned with each athlete's goals and development stage Lead small-group classes, private lessons, and assist with seasonal teams Conduct player evaluations using objective tools (Trackman, HitTrax, Uplift, etc.) Collaborate with other instructors to continuously refine training systems and coaching methods Maintain strong communication with athletes and families regarding progress, expectations, and scheduling Contribute to internal coach development, mentorship, and professional culture Represent Performance Baseball with professionalism at practices, games, and external events Qualifications Collegiate or professional playing experience preferred 2+ years of coaching or instruction experience at the youth, high school, or collegiate level Strong knowledge of baseball fundamentals and skill-specific teaching methods Familiarity with modern training tools, technology, and data-driven instruction (preferred but not required) A background or familiarity with strength and conditioning principles—especially as they apply to baseball performance (preferred but not required) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrated leadership and the ability to work collaboratively within a team Passion for teaching and a growth mindset in developing athletes Opportunities & Growth Performance Baseball is a dynamic and growing organization with opportunities to expand your role based on performance, expertise, and leadership.
