Auxiliary coaches support the head coaches in maintaining the vision within the program. They work under the head coach to support the athletic programs to meet the needs of the school district and their participants.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities This position has the following expectations and prerequisite abilities.1.Knowledge and understanding of the basic aspects of the sport.2.Has knowledge of and complies with state, conference, league and school training, rules and regulations.3.Complies with all state, conference, league and school rules and regulations, and policies approved by Eugene School District 4J, OSAA and NFHS.4.Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with diverse students, staff, and community populations.5.Maintain a high level of confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA, FERPA and adherence to the competent and ethical educator practices.6.Maintain compliance with state and federal laws governing all aspects of our agency including ORS, OAR, IDEA, FOIA, and CIPA.7.Demonstrates respectful, flexible and effective teambuilding skills of cooperation, communication and active participation.8.Present self and ESD4J in a professional manner including: in oral and written communication, professional disposition when working with others and maintaining professional dress standards.9.Ability to understand and follow oral and written directives.10.Maintain regular attendance at work. Be punctual in meeting deadlines, attending meetings, and following schedules.11.Utilize teleservice platform to provide services to educators, students and district staff as directed.12.Ability to lift, carry at least 25 pounds.13.Ability to sit for extended periods of time in a vehicle or work setting.Similar jobs in Eugene, OR
