We are looking for energetic, dependable, positive individuals who enjoy working with children and want to help create a fun, safe, and encouraging environment for young athletes. Our recreational program includes preschool and school-age classes, and we are especially interested in candidates who are excited to work with kids, teach foundational gymnastics skills, and be part of a strong coaching team. This position can be a great fit for someone with gymnastics, cheer, tumbling, dance, teaching, preschool, camp, or other youth leadership experience.
Responsibilities:
Coach preschool and/or school-age recreational gymnastics classes Teach foundational gymnastics skills in a safe and positive way Keep classes active, organized, and engaging Help children build confidence, coordination, strength, and basic gymnastics technique Communicate professionally with parents and fellow staff Assist with camps, open gyms, birthday parties, or other programs as needed
Qualifications:
Experience working with children preferred Gymnastics, cheer, tumbling, dance, teaching, or related background is a plus Positive attitude and strong communication skills Dependable and professional Willingness to learn and grow as a coach Ability to manage groups of children in a fun and structured environment
Schedule:
Part-time afternoon, evening, and weekend hours available. Candidates who are open to both coaching and front office responsibilities may have the opportunity to build a larger schedule by helping in multiple areas of the gym.
Pay:
Hourly pay based on experience
