Part-Time; Dependent upon sport; Stipend at End of Season; No Benefits Summary Collegium Charter School (CCS) is seeking a qualified, seasonal Assistant Cheer Coach candidate for the Varsity High School level. Successful candidates will have knowledge of cheer and will demonstrate effective coaching technique, leadership and mentoring skills; the ability to relate well within the school community; and the desire to provide an atmosphere conducive to good sportsmanship and high standards. Qualified candidates will enhance the School's commitment to diversity and inclusivity and will be committed to the School's Vision and Mission. The Coach will be required to perform other duties requested by the Director of Athletics and/or school administrator. Observe the rules of thePIAA, PIAA
District 1, and the Bicentennial Athletic League (BAL) Provide leadership and general team management in the areas of daily practice, skills, and character development Remain current with theories and techniques in their sport Attend all coaches' meetings and collaborate with athletic director, head coach and assistant coach(es) and student manager Establish and maintain effective working relationships with coaches, athletic administrators, students, parent body, and the community Evaluate and assess players' skills and select team rosters Responsible for team equipment Keep the scorebook current and available Preferred- clean driving record and ability to drive a 9-passenger van Report areas of concern immediately to Athletic Directors

- 5:00pm, Games will vary; No weekends Required Upon Hire Required Clearances include Criminal Background Clearance Act 34, Child Abuse Clearance Act 151, and FBI Fingerprint Clearance Act 114, all dated within one year of anticipated start date Meets criteria for employment in a PA Public School First Aid Certified Work Environment and Physical Demands The mental and physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
