In this role, you will lead engaging gymnastics classes to athletes of all ability levels, teach 1 on 1 lessons, develop personalized training plans, and foster a safe, motivating environment for skill development. Your passion for gymnastics and dedication to coaching will help students build confidence, strength, and technique while having fun. This position offers a flexible schedule and an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on our community's youth! Duties Design and deliver comprehensive gymnastics training sessions tailored to various skill levels, from beginners to advanced athletes Demonstrate proper techniques for all 4 gymnastics events while ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed Monitor participants' progress and adjust coaching strategies accordingly to meet individual goals Maintain a safe training environment by enforcing behavior management policies and supervising all activities closely Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress, achievements, and areas for improvement Lead warm-up exercises, stretching routines, and cool-down sessions to prevent injuries and promote overall wellness Lead 1 on 1 private lessons with athletes of all skill levels Qualifications Proven experience working with children At least 3 years of gymnastics coaching experience (recreational or competitive) Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with athletes, parents, and team members Ability to demonstrate/spot athletes safely Knowledge of proper form and technique on all events Experience coaching advanced skills such as backhandsprings, backtucks, and tumbling connections
