Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Diving Coach-Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for diving and a commitment to developing athletes of all skill levels. The Diving Coach will be responsible for designing and implementing training programs, providing technical instruction, and fostering a positive and motivating environment for divers. This role requires strong leadership skills, effective communication, and the ability to inspire and mentor athletes. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive training programs tailored to the needs and skill levels of individual divers and the team as a whole. Conduct regular practice sessions, focusing on technique, strength, flexibility, and mental preparation. Provide constructive feedback and coaching to athletes to enhance performance and safety. Monitor and assess the progress of divers, adjusting training plans as necessary to ensure continuous improvement. Organize and lead team meetings, competitions, and events, ensuring all logistics are managed effectively. Collaborate with other coaching staff, trainers, and sports professionals to create a holistic training environment. Promote a positive team culture that encourages sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal growth. Stay current with diving techniques, rules, and safety regulations, ensuring compliance and best practices are followed. Communicate regularly with athletes and their families regarding performance, goals, and development plans. Attend workshops, clinics, and conferences to enhance coaching skills and knowledge of the sport. Requirements Proven experience as a diving coach, with a strong track record of developing athletes at various levels. In-depth knowledge of diving techniques, training methodologies, and competition rules. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire athletes. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. First Aid and CPR certification is required; additional safety certifications are a plus.
