High School Assistant Wrestling Coach

Job Description

Pottsgrove Athletics is seeking a qualified, dedicated, and high-energy High School Wrestling Assistant Coach. The coach will be responsible for leading all aspects of assisting the head coach of our program, including team management, player development, supervision, fostering a competitive, and sportsmanship-driven environment aligned with Pottsgrove's athletic values. Key Responsibilities Assist the daily operations of the High School Wrestling, including practice planning, game strategy, and communication. Maintain strict adherence to all rules, policies, and guidelines established by the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) and the Pioneer Athletic Conference (PAC). Foster student-athlete academic success, sportsmanship, discipline, and leadership on and off the mat.
Qualifications Required:
Minimum of (3) years of experience coaching wrestling.
Required:
Comprehensive understanding of PIAA rules, eligibility criteria, and Pioneer Athletic Conference guidelines.
Preferred:
Prior experience coaching interscholastic sports.
Preferred:
Prior experience participating in interscholastic sports.
