ABOUT LA LEGENDS LA
Legends is a nonprofit sports organization focused on creating opportunities for girls and women through football, leadership development, mentorship, competition, and community engagement. As we continue to expand our youth, women's flag, and women's tackle programs, we are looking for a creative and strategic Head of Marketing to help grow our brand and increase community visibility. Position Overview The Head Coach will lead all operational, tactical, and developmental aspects of the women's tackle football program. You will be responsible for creating a competitive, structured environment that prioritizes athlete safety, athletic skill development, scheme execution, and a positive team culture. Athlete & Staff Development Build a positive, empowering team culture grounded in accountability, discipline, and mutual respect. Assemble, mentor, and manage new and returning coaching staff (coordinators, position coaches, and support staff).
Qualifications & Experience Required:
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of football coaching experience (Tackle preferred; High School, Collegiate, Semi-Pro, or Professional level).
Leadership:
Proven track record of team leadership, playbook development, and player skill progression.
Communication:
Exceptional organizational, public speaking, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred:
Prior coaching experience within women's tackle (Preferred not required) Background in strength and conditioning or sports performance. •This is a volunteer role•
