LPG Sports Academy has an immediate opening for an energetic coach to fill a part time position teaching sports classes, camps and conducting sports-themed birthday parties for children ages 2 to 11. Ideal candidates will have proven experience leading and motivating young children and will have a mix of playing and / or coaching experience in sports, with experience in soccer and baseball / softball being preferable. Experience in basketball is a plus. Our goal for this position is to have the candidate progress quickly within the company to lead to more managerial responsibilities. The hours for the position will be a set schedule representing a mix of weekday mornings and / or afternoons, Saturday mornings or full day with the exact schedule and number of hours to depend on the candidate's experience and availability. Ideally the position will be 15-20 hours per week to start with growth opportunities. Strong preference will be given to candidates who are available to work weekends. Our locations include Franklin and Brentwood. The majority of hours for this position will be in Franklin. Compensation for the position will range between $16 and $17 per hour depending on the experience of the candidate plus bonus opportunities and paid training. This job has the potential to offer increased hours and responsibility for an employee who shows they can produce results.

Job Requirements:

• Be enthusiastic and high energy in working with children.
• Make kids smile and laugh by being silly, active and engaging.
• Teach fundamental sports skills to young children, following lesson plans and teaching methods provided by us.
• Be able to commit to a set schedule for at least six months; preferably longer.
• Must currently live in the Nashville or Williamson County area. LPG Sports Academy is a nationally franchised sports business headquartered in Franklin, Tennessee, offering soccer, baseball / softball, basketball, hockey and multi-sport programs for children aged 20 months
