Dallas, TX Job Details Part-time From $22 an hour 22 hours ago Qualifications Youth fitness Teamwork Team development Organizational skills Teaching Full Job Description RR Elite Athletics | Dallas, TX RR Elite Athletics is launching a new youth Cheer, Drill & Dance program serving children and teens ages 6-17. We are seeking an experienced, energetic and highly organized Program Director / Head Coach to lead the development of our inaugural teams and help grow RR Elite into a premier youth performance and competitive program. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced coach who loves working with youth and wants the opportunity to lead and grow a program from its inaugural season with the facility, administrative infrastructure and resources already in place.
THE ROLE
The Program Director will oversee the day-to-day operation and development of RR Elite Athletics, including: Developing recreational and competitive cheer, drill and dance teams Conducting athlete evaluations and team placements Creating practice schedules and training plans Teaching and/or overseeing choreography and routines Preparing teams for performances and competitions Identifying appropriate local and regional competitions Managing competition registration, rosters, music and deadlines Recruiting, training and supervising assistant coaches Maintaining athlete safety and appropriate skill progression Communicating professionally with parents and families Assisting with athlete recruitment, clinics and enrollment events Coordinating community performances and showcases Helping establish a positive team culture built around discipline, confidence, teamwork and excellence
WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WITH
Competitive cheer, drill, majorette and/or dance coaching experience Strong knowledge of youth cheer safety and skill progression Experience preparing athletes for competitions Knowledge of competition divisions, rules and registration processes Leadership or program-management experience Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to lead both athletes and coaching staff A genuine commitment to positive youth development
USASF/USA
Cheer credentials or other recognized cheer/dance credentials are preferred. CPR/First Aid/AED certification preferred or must be obtained. All candidates must successfully complete required background screening.
SCHEDULE
Approximately 25-30 hours per week during program development and the inaugural season. Typical schedule will include weekday afternoon/evening hours, approximately 2:00-7:00 PM , with some Saturdays required for clinics, performances and competitions. Position has the opportunity to grow into a full-time leadership role as enrollment expands.
COMPENSATION
$22-$26/hour , based on experience and qualifications. PLUS opportunities for enrollment and program-performance bonuses as RR Elite Athletics grows.
