In this energetic role, you will design and implement engaging training programs, motivate students of all skill levels, and foster a positive environment that encourages growth, discipline, and teamwork. You must be familiar with coaching USAG Xcel Women's gymnastics. Your expertise will help athletes develop technical skills, improve performance, and build confidence through structured coaching sessions and personalized feedback. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the next generation of gymnasts while promoting health, fitness, and sportsmanship. Duties Plan and deliver comprehensive gymnastics training sessions tailored to various skill levels, from beginner to advanced competitors Demonstrate proper techniques for routines, flips, vaults, bars, beam, and floor exercises while ensuring safety protocols are followed Monitor athlete progress through regular assessments and provide constructive feedback to enhance performance Foster a motivating environment that encourages teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship among athletes Implement behavior management strategies to maintain focus and positive conduct during training sessions Coordinate with parents and guardians regarding athlete development and progress updates Assist in organizing competitions, showcases, and team events to showcase athlete achievements and promote team spirit Continued education: Maintain Safe Sport & all USAG required certifications Skills Proven experience in sports coaching with a focus on gymnastics or similar disciplines such as cheerleading or climbing Strong background in teaching gymnastics. Minimum of 2 years coaching USAG Gymnastics program required Excellent behavior management skills to motivate students of diverse ages and skill levels Ability to work effectively with children Knowledge of gymnastics techniques.
