Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Swimming Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in swimming and coaching, with the ability to inspire and motivate swimmers of all ages and skill levels. This role involves developing training programs, conducting swim lessons, and ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all participants. Responsibilities Design and implement effective training programs tailored to the needs of individual swimmers or groups. Conduct swim practices for various skill levels, ensuring proper techniques are taught and practiced. Monitor swimmers' progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their performance. Ensure safety protocols are followed during all training sessions. Attend Swim Meets at least once a month. Maintain communication with parents or guardians regarding swimmer progress and any concerns. Stay updated on swimming techniques, coaching strategies, and safety regulations. Experience Previous experience in swimming coaching or instruction is preferred. Strong swimming skills with a solid understanding of various strokes and techniques.
Swim meets:
Usually required to attend 1 swim meet a month, Friday
  • Sunday.
Requirements:
(Within the 1st month of hiring) Background check USA Swimming certification classes. Done once registered. Athlete Protection Training Concussion Protocol Training Coaches Advantage Tutorial Red Cross CPR/AED Training Red Cross Lifeguard OR Safety Training for coaches
Practice Schedule:
(18.5 hours weekly) 4:00 pm

  • F 10:00 am
  • 11:00 am
