Community Recreation/Sports Center General Summary Sports Center Swim Instructors will lead private and group swim lessons for children and adults under the direction of the Aquatics Coordinator. Specific Position Duties Sports Center Swim Instructors will be responsible for coordinating private and group swim lessons with the Aquatics Coordinator and their clients; instructing any assigned classes; ensuring clients are safe during the lessons, and learning how to swim to the best of their ability. Minimum Qualifications Swim Instructors must have excellent communication skills, be responsible and punctual, as well as able to be courteous, and professional at all times with members and clients. Instructors must also have a Swim Instructor certification, or be able to attain a Swim Instructor certification before beginning teaching.
