Our fun and gentle teaching methods focus on water survival skills and stroke advancement for individuals starting as young as 3 months old. Summary We are seeking a Swim Instructor to join our team at British Swim School. This role is vital in helping students of all ages develop their swimming abilities in a safe and enjoyable environment. As a Swim Instructor, you will contribute significantly to our mission of promoting water safety and confidence. Responsibilities Instruct swimming lessons for individuals of various ages and skill levels. Implement fun and engaging teaching methods to promote water safety and swimming skills. Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their learning experience. Ensure a safe swimming environment by adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns. Participate in ongoing training sessions to improve instructional techniques. Requirements Current lifeguard certification or willingness to obtain one prior to employment. Strong swimming skills with the ability to teach various strokes effectively. Experience in teaching physical education or working with students is preferred. Excellent communication skills for interacting with students and parents alike. Enthusiastic attitude towards teaching and promoting water safety.
