Our facility is dedicated to helping young athletes develop their skills, confidence, athleticism, and love for the game. We are looking for an energetic, knowledgeable Speed & Agility Instructor to join our team and help baseball/softball players become faster, stronger, more explosive, and more athletic. The Opportunity The ideal candidate has a passion for athletic development and enjoys working with youth and teenage athletes. You will be responsible for designing and leading speed, agility, quickness, and movement-training sessions specifically geared toward baseball/softball players. This is a great opportunity for a former athlete, strength & conditioning coach, personal trainer, PE teacher, college athlete, or experienced youth sports coach who wants to work in a positive, high-energy baseball environment. Responsibilities Design and lead speed, agility, quickness, and athletic-development workouts Work with athletes ranging from youth players through high school Develop age- and ability-appropriate training programs Improve athletes' acceleration, change of direction, reaction time, coordination, balance, and explosiveness Qualifications Experience coaching or training athletes preferred Background in speed & agility, strength & conditioning, personal training, physical education, or competitive athletics preferred Baseball or softball experience is a strong plus Comfortable working with children and teenagers Incorporate baseball-specific movement and athletic development into training Strong communication and leadership skills What We're Looking For We want someone who can connect with young athletes , hold them accountable, and make training something they look forward to. The right person doesn't just run drills, they understand how to develop athletes and can explain the why behind what they're doing. Energetic, positive, and motivating personality Reliable and professional Ability to teach proper movement mechanics and training techniques CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
Pay:
$25.00 - $50.00 per hour Expected hours: 2.0 - 10.0 per week
