Developmental Gymnastics Coach (Compulsory) Spokane, WA Job Details Part-time $23 - $29 an hour 5 days ago Benefits Health insurance Qualifications Teamwork Sports coaching Lesson planning Athletic conditioning programs Gymnastics Communication skills Entry level Full Job Description Inland Northwest Gymnastics is seeking an enthusiastic, reliable, and team-oriented coach to support our Developmental Program, working primarily with compulsory athletes. At Inland Northwest Gymnastics, we believe in building strong athletes and even stronger humans. Our gym is rooted in community, character, and connection, and our coaching staff plays a vital role in creating a positive and empowering environment for every gymnast who walks through our doors.
Responsibilities:
Coach compulsory gymnasts during regularly scheduled practices Support skill development through spotting, drills, conditioning, and lesson planning Provide positive, constructive feedback to help gymnasts build confidence and technical progress Foster a safe, inclusive, and motivating training environment Communicate clearly with coaching staff and gym leadership Attend and coach competitions Travel to competitions as neededQualifications:
Previous gymnastics coaching experience preferred Experience coaching Developmental Program or Xcel athletes preferred Competition coaching experience preferred, but not required Ability to spot compulsory skills, with training provided as needed Dependable, punctual, and professional Strong communication and interpersonal skills Enthusiasm for working with young athletes and helping them grow Willingness to learn and follow program structures and coaching philosophies Ability to pass a background check SafeSport certification required or willingness to complete upon hireSchedule:
Evening practices, day practices in the summer, minimum 3 days per week Occasional weekend commitments for meets, team events, or clinicsPay and Benefits:
Practice pay: $23-$29 per hour, depending on experience Competition pay: $30-$40 per hour, depending on experience Travel time to and from out-of-town competitions is paid in accordance with Washington State minimum wage requirements All competition travel expenses paid Health insurance offeredJob Type:
