Position:

Ph. D. in Criminal Justice or Criminology or a doctoral degree in a closely related field from an accreditedinstitution with documented specialization in Criminal Justice or Criminology. ABDs will be considered if requirements for the Ph. D. arecompleted by the start date. A JD degree alone will not be sufficient for this position. The successful candidate must demonstrate acommitment to quality teaching, the ability to conduct research and publish, and the ability to enhance the department. Area ofspecialization is open, although candidates with an active research agenda and the ability to teach courses with the programs' corerequirements will be given priority. This position requires a commitment to collegiality, high-impact educational practices,scholarship and publication, professional development, academic citizenship, and community engagement. Interest in sponsored research thatopens avenues for our students is highly desirable. The successful candidate will teach face-to-face and online courses. Typical teachingload for faculty is 3/3 between the Fall and Spring semesters. The start date is August 8, 2027. Salary is commensurate with experience andpending available funding.
