Local candidates are strongly preferred. Successful candidates will demonstrate the following: excellent communication and interpersonal skills; a flexible, student-centered approach to teaching writing; the ability to engage a diverse student population; and familiarity with research/scholarship concerning pedagogy and the community college environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience teaching at the community college level is strongly preferred. Priority will be given to candidates with graduate coursework and/or training in the teaching of writing.
