Assistant Professor of English Georgetown College - 3.7 Georgetown, KY Job Details Full-time | Tenure track 4 hours ago Qualifications English writing skills instruction Content editing English Doctor of Philosophy Teaching English language arts English Senior level Master's degree in fine arts Master of Fine Arts Teaching literature Full Job Description Georgetown College seeks applications for a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor of English, beginning August 2027. The successful candidate will have either a Ph.D. or MFA and will be qualified to teach fiction writing and American literature. The position carries a 4/4 load per academic year, including composition and literature surveys. Editing experience or experience teaching editing and publishing is desirable, since the successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach in our new Editing and Publishing minor. Located in Georgetown, Kentucky, Georgetown College is a private, Christian, liberal arts institution of approximately 1,200 undergraduate students, and emphasis is placed on teaching excellence in a diverse context.
