M.D., D.O., Board certification in Otolaryngology, hold or have the ability to obtain the appropriate medical licenses in the State of Michigan. Evidence of clinical competence is expected. Evidence of scholarly ability (publications in peer-reviewed journals, acquisition of external funding, presentation of research at national meetings) and competence in teaching is also expected. This position is posted as Clinical Assistant Professor/Clinical Associate Professor/Clinical Professor. Rank of selected candidate is dependent upon qualifications. This position may be filled at the Clinical Assistant Professor/Clinical Associate Professor/Clinical Professor rank based on experience. Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings. Background screenings are performed in compliance with the Fair Credit Report Act. Pre-employment drug testing applies to all selected candidates, including new or additional faculty and staff appointments, as well as transfers from other U-M campuses.
