Assistant Professor of Journalism Essential Job Functions:
Excellent organizational and management skills. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders as well as excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. Training in journalism, editing, broadcast and podcast professions. Demonstrated commitment to promoting inclusive and accessible learning environments for diverse populations.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Professional experience in broadcast journalism, both radio and television, and podcasting preferred. A record of scholarship and publication or evidence of a productive research agenda. Evidence of experience working with underprepared and diverse student population.
Qualifications:
Minimum of five years' experience in professional podcasting preferred. M.A. in Journalism or Mass Communications required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
