Instructor/Assistant Professor of Business Administration

Job Description

Summary Missouri Baptist University is looking to hire an Instructor or Assistant Professor of Business Administration. This position is a full-time faculty professional position that is a 9-month contract to teach in person undergraduate courses and serve as a Program Chair. Prepare and teach courses as assigned in the field of study for which they are hired from a Biblical worldview to enhance student learning outcomes. Cultivate student's curiosity for the field of study and applications in career fields. Mentor students for internship and career advice. Develop partnerships with the business community. Essential Responsibilities Classroom preparation and instruction as per policy with faith integration. Serve as a Program Chair Professional and scholarly productivity in degree field. Service to the institution. Student mentoring. Business community partnership development. Minimum Education/Experience Earned Master's degree in field of study with an undergraduate degree in the same or similar field of study Professional and scholarly accomplishments deemed exemplary and sufficient, or an individual who has an approved dissertation topic. Teaching experience at the higher education level. Business managerial experience. Business experience. Preferred Education/Experience Earned doctorate in the desired business field of study including some economics with a master's and undergraduate degree in the same or very similar field of study. All degrees conferred by an AACSB or ACBSP accredited institution. Two or more years of teaching experience at the higher education level. Three or more years of upper-level managerial experience. Industry relevant certification(s).
