Assistant Professor, Education (Tenure-Track, 9-month)
New Mexico State University Grants Community College Salary:
Commensurate with education and experience ($58,438-$70,382).
Start Date:
December 1, 2026 NMSU Grants Community College invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Education position beginning December 1, 2026. Salary is commensurate with education and experience ($58,438-$70,382). Responsibilities include teaching Early Childhood Education and Teaching Pathways courses in face-to-face, hybrid, and online formats; advising and mentoring students; developing curriculum; assessing student learning; participating in college governance and accreditation activities; and promoting the Education Program through community and K-12 partnerships.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field with at least 18 graduate hours in Education, Early Childhood, or Educational Psychology; and three years of full-time teaching experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Community college teaching experience, PreK-12 teaching experience, Level 3 New Mexico Teaching License, online teaching experience (Canvas or similar LMS), and experience working with diverse student populations.
