St. Thomas Aquinas College invites applications for a full-time Professor of Computer Science at either the Assistant or Associate rank, to begin September 2027 (or earlier by mutual agreement). Located in the School of STEM, this position will serve undergraduate programs in Computer Science, Data Science, and Cybersecurity. The successful candidate will teach across the Computer Science curriculum, including introductory, intermediate, and advanced courses aligned with their expertise. Candidates with interests in mathematics and other areas that complement existing STEM programs are especially encouraged to apply. The College seeks a teacher-scholar committed to high-quality undergraduate education, curriculum development, and student mentorship. A willingness to engage students in project-based learning and undergraduate research is strongly preferred. Faculty responsibilities include a 24-credit teaching load per year, student advising, curriculum development, and service. Opportunities exist to shape program direction during a period of growth and transition. A PhD in Computer Science or a closely related field is required by the start date of the appointment. The salary range for this position is $64,000-$80,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience, and includes a comprehensive benefits package.
