The appointment is expected to begin in August 2026. Job Description The Department of Kinesiology, Nutrition, and Health invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor/Instructor to support a growing kinesiology program recognized for its high-impact learning environment, strong student engagement, and preparation for clinical and graduate pathways. With sustained enrollment growth, the program emphasizes experiential instruction, faculty mentorship, and applied movement science education. The successful candidate will teach courses (4:4 load) in motor control, motor learning, biomechanics, and related areas of movement science. Anticipated teaching assignments may include Motor Skill Learning and Performance, Advanced Motor Control and Learning, Biomechanics, entry-level physical activity and health courses, and senior capstone experiences. Courses are delivered face-to-face and may include both lecture and laboratory formats. This is a full-time, non-tenure-track, on-campus visiting position that requires regular campus presence and active engagement with students.
