All of which support Oregon Tech's general education mission. Students will be prepared to apply the principles of behavior analysis with diverse populations and in a wide variety of settings. For additional information, please visit: https://www.oit.edu/academics/degrees/msaba Position Summary Oregon Institute of Technology is conducting a search for a full-time, tenure-track, 9-month faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor. Our new colleague will support our MS-ABA, BS-Applied Psychology, and BRIDGE Clinic programs. Responsibilities include teaching graduate and undergraduate courses, providing clinical supervision of students and other duties at the BRIDGE clinic. Applied research and excellence in instruction are expected of tenure track faculty at Oregon Tech. Service to the department, institution, and community are also highly valued. The position reports to the Chair of the Humanities and Social Sciences Department. The Director of the Building Resilience, Independence, Development, Growth, and Excellence Applied Behavior Analysis (BRIDGE ABA) clinic is responsible for assignment and evaluation of clinic-related activities. Qualified candidates will have a doctoral degree in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis or related field from an accredited college or university and Board Certification in Behavior Analysis. Qualified candidates should demonstrate the ability to teach a broad range of classes that support our current curriculum. Oregon Tech offers competitive salaries and an excellent benefits package. The MS in Applied Behavior Analysis and BS in Applied Psychology programs are housed within the Humanities and Social Sciences Department, a dynamic and growing department with a commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration. Oregon Tech's primary mission is teaching and our Applied Psychology and Applied Behavior Analysis programs have a strong practical component. Candidates must be student-oriented and able to teach smaller seminar and lab classes with a hands-on emphasis, as well as larger lecture classes. Minimum Requirements Additional Requirements PhD in ABA, Psychology or related, or PsyD BCBA - preferred BCBA-D Experience teaching at the graduate and/or undergraduate level Experience in designing and/or implementing evidence-based treatment for children with developmental disabilities, autism, and/or challenging behaviors Ability to develop and maintain an active (applied) research program Preferred Qualifications Experience in supervision of BCBA candidates, BCaBAs and RBTs/behavioral technicians Experience working in clinic, home and community settings, directing technicians and/or conducting parent training Experience developing and maintaining an active (applied) research program Application Information Recruitment Type External Application Screening Begins 04/21/2026 Job Posting Close Date Special Instructions to Applicant The initial review of applications will begin Aprill 21, 2026.
