Job Description
Untitled Cumberland Perry Area CTC seeks a full-time Electromechanical (Mechatronics) Instructor for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a unique opportunity to educate the next generation of skilled workers in this field. You will be using a new state-of-the-art classroom and lab to reach this goal. This program prepared two National SkillsUSA silver medal recipients and collaborates with industry partners in central Pennsylvania to enhance student success and employability. Requirements include the ability to plan, assess and supervise students in a classroom and laboratory setting. Four years of trade experience with some supervisory experience preferred. A person holding a Tech Ed certification is eligible to teach this program. Program topics will include basic electrical principles, electronics, basic pneumatics, hydraulics, PLCs, motor controls, robotics, automation, and related areas. Instructor is responsible for planning, preparation, assessment, and supervision of student activities and other program requirements. The successful candidate must work towards permanent teacher certification if they do not already possess PDE certification. Once selected, chosen candidate will then need to complete and produce current Act 34 and Act 151 Clearances, FBI Clearance, physical, and TB test. CPACTC serves 1350 9th-12th grade students in 22 programs through two half-day sessions. Salary dependent upon experience. 190 workdays per year.
